Renowned Radio/ Tv personality and brand influencer Caroline Sampson , former host of Global Media Alliance YFM’s mid-afternoon “Shout On Y” programme has revealed what led to her sudden termination of duty in the said media house in a lengthy conversation with Peace FM’s “Entertainment Review” on Thursday afternoon, May 14th, 2020, showbiz talk show that she least expected a sack from her employer, after a decade of spirited loyalty coupled with hard work. Appearing on the show, the cute host stated that prior to her firing, she spoke to one of her colleagues about possible choices or options available for their employers when they were prompted for a meeting and the last thing that came into mind was a pay cut. In her own words, “the least I expected was termination of contract especially looking at the years I have spent with my employer”. Ms. Sampson thought loyalty could have spared her job at YFM. But that was not the case. Presumptuously, she reprimanded her superior for not prompting her or even extending kind shoulders to her after she received her sacked notice till date. Not a word she reiterated. Instead, she was extremely optimistic and articulated that her doors are open to talks for the next endeavour in the corporate world. Be it a local dialect speaking media platform. Finally, she was grateful, and never regretted being with YFM. Rather, she took time to expressed utmost appreciation to her former employer for opening doors such as the BETs’, Channel O, MTV Base and other huge platforms for her during these years working with them. Again, she was quick to add that, Global Media Alliance promised other gigs and offers such as Voiceover Ads, endorsement deals and brand influencing packages plus an advance Month salary will be accorded to her when they need arises. Until we hear or see the strong and sassy cute Ms. Caroline Sampson on another media platform doing what she does best. Keep observing the COVID-19 safety precautionary measures religiously. Do not forget to wear your nose mask whenever you step out from your residence.
