Multimedia’s Adom FM and Television presenter Nana Yaa Brefo, host of “Badwan” show has called it quit after a decade with the said media house. The vocal TV and Radio host took to her Instagram page to break the news. In her statement, “I bow out of Multimedia to follow other dreams. Thank you all for been there’’, she updated. However, it is uncertain what triggered Nana Yaa’s resignation but the perception circulating indicate she was pressured to call it quit following an interview she granted actress Nana Ama McBrown on her show in relation to the demise of the late actor Bishop Bernard Nyarko. Nana Yaa was highly reprimanded by Graphic Showbiz columnist Arnold Asamoah and some section of the masses that she was unprofessional citing the calibre of questions she put to Nana Ama McBrown. In the aforementioned interview, Nana Yaa queried McBrown whether she has his colleague’s contact number and will she attend his funeral. These questions didn’t go down well with some audience. Nana Yaa expressed her profoundest gratitude to the Multimedia Group Limited, her colleagues and followers for all these years.

Over the past few weeks, many media personalities across mainstream media platforms have either quit or sent home, due to incessant decline in commercial revenues caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
