COUNSELLOR LUTTERODT CAUTIONS HR DEPTS ON HOW THEY HIRE AND FIRE EMPLOYEES

Controversial Social Commentator/Marriage Counsellor Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt popularly known as Counsellor Lutterodt has appealed to Human Resource Departments of Media houses and Corporate organizations to employ the services of professional counsellors to talk to their employees before they abrogate their contracts. Appearing on Peace FM 104.3 MHz ‘s weekend showbiz talk show “Entertainment Review” on Saturday afternoon, May 9th, 2020 with host Kwasi Aboagye, the famous counsellor revealed that it is heartbreaking and suicidal when an employee is asked to go home with no prior notice and peculiar reasons. In his own words “Counsel them well before you sent them home.” He stressed on the fact that most laid off staff go through trauma and pain when they realize their effort are not appreciated by those who employ them. Hence, it is appropriate and prudent to expatiate what exactly went wrong so that the fellow will rectify these flaws to propel them well for the next job opportunity or field of endeavour. The outspoken counsellor was speaking on the issue about how some media houses hire and fire top-notch media personalities ruthlessly especially during these trying times. Recently, it was in the news that some famous radio and television presenters’ contracts with their respective Media entities has been abrogated. Mr. Lutterodt was not happy about these unpopular current trend and therefore admonished employers to eschew this practice.
