Renowned multiple award-winning Ghanaian Dancehall reggae sensational act, born Livingstone Etse Satekla staged name Stonebwoy has gave birth to an impeccable 15 track list album titled “Angola Junction” on Friday April 24th 2020, which is his fourth studio album. The “Go Higher” hit maker revealed on Multimedia’s Joy Prime channel during the album listening session on Thursday , April 23rd, 2020 with Jay Foley that “The title on its own is interesting just for the fact that we have come this far, having gotten a lot of experience from the works that have done, learning from the best and pushing our best to do the most and the best as well creative-wise. Repetition makes you a master but sometimes boring. I needed something that will make sense, then Anloga Junction came into mind.” Stonebwoy went on and expatiated that “naturally, I’ve had some amount of influence from the west music-wise. By how far our cultural and Afro music has reached and heights attained. I’ve paid homage to predecessors. I’ve played my part to be recognized globally. I’m versatile and can even jump on bailar beats. So, with this particular project and juncture, I’m at the Anloga Junction, where “Anloga” represent every inspiration from home and from the roots. “Junction” is an English word literally represent inspiration and influence from the west.” “So, we decided to give this album an identity that will actually stand out, one that is different from everything else. So, when you hear ‘Anloga Junction’, you’ll begin to wonder wow, it could have been called something else”. The prolific hit maker proceeded with the assertion that, Anloga Junction for his new album has also had an effect on the use of his mother tongue, Ewe in his tunes. In his own words, “I have always been but I will continue to sell Africa to the world from where ever we stand or come from”. The Angola Junction album was premiered on Joy Prime channel and Hitz Fm 103.9mhz on Thursday April 23rd, 2020 at 4pm respectively.
