NAA ASHORKOR BOUNCES BACK WITH ASSASE RADIO

Renowned media personality and emcee, Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku has found a new love at Asaase Radio as a weekday afternoon and evening shows host.

The “troubled” presenter was in the news recently after her former employer, Multimedia terminated her contract, where she hosted ‘Strong & Sassy” and “Rhythmz A-Z” radio programmes on Joy FM.

Naa took to her Facebook page and broke the news. She posted... “I have news, singing; capable God ooo. What is hard for you to do, it doesn’t exist...ooo.

Starting 6th July, I’d be back on your radio. Tune into Asaase Radio 99.5, Mondays – Thursday at 2pm for “Between hours” and on Wednesday nights at 7pm for “Just Us” this one is for girls only.

I’m excited to be back on your radio serving you good quality radio shows for your listening pleasure. I am very grateful to you all for your support and love. I count on your continue support and prayer for or with me as I start this new journey.

The cute lady presenter’s career has been a rollercoaster. One day, she is there, the next day she is not kind of scenario. She started as a “Vox Pop” coordinator for TV Africa whiles at Ghana Institute of Journalism, Osu. Later became the host of a TV programme “The Generation Show’’, when her predecessor was hospitalized at the same network.

She proceeded to Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) Network, where she hosted “Tales from the Padded Room” on GHOne TV and a weekday mid-morning show on Starr FM until she joined Multimedia.

In a lengthy interview she granted Graphic Showbiz, she couldn’t hide her joy and love for this new challenge, since it’s about feminism advocacy. An opportunity to rewrite history after all that she has being through.

In her own words, she stressed “I have to accept that God always has bigger plans for us and that was why I publicly announced it when my contract was terminated at Multimedia. I believe that my new job is another chance from God to positively use my talent to influence society.”

Undoubtedly, Naa is blessed. We wish her well in her new endeavour.
