The novel coronavirus infection is fast spreading like a bush fire. Just as we thought, government rest assured Ghanaians that we have hit our peak as far as infection rate pertaining to this COVID-19 pandemic is concern. It seems the number keeps skyrocketing every day on an abnormal note and the recovery rate is not encouraging. The latest recorded figures in indicates there are about 4012 infected persons in the country with Greater Accra region leading the chart.

The question is, was it prudent for government to lift the partial lockdown after just three weeks? Secondly, why is government not conducting mass testing? Again, why is enforcement of Presidential orders by the security service and mass education by National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE) regarding the pandemic to the citizenry is on the low? These are thought provoking questions each and every one should ponder on. Until then, let’s all proceed to observe the safety protocols. Wear our nose mask anytime we step out since the battle against the disease kick start right from our door step. Finally, please stay home if you have nothing important to do in town.
