AKUFO-ADDO INSTRUCTS COMMUNICATIONS MINISTER TO DEFER GBC DTT DIRECTIVE

Ghana's President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has directed the Communications Minister, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful to hold on to the DTT directive given to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC).

In an official communique on Thursday, July 23, the Director of Communications at the Office of the President, Eugene Arhin said the directive is “in connection with the reduction of GBC’s channels on the DTT platform, pending further consultations with stakeholders.
